Technical Workshop for the Development of GHS Software, 09-10 January 2017, Bangi-Putrajaya Hotel

A technical workshop for the development of GHS Software was held on 9-10 January 2017 at Bangi-Putrajaya Hotel. The main objective of the workshop is to get inputs and feedbacks from key stakeholders on the proposed GHS software. Issues discussed in the workshop including framework of the software, user registration, chemical search, classification criteria under GHS and CLASS 2013.

Participants for the workshop comprise representatives from Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE), Ministry of Health (MOH), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE), Department of Agriculture (DOA) and National University of Malaysia (UKM).
